STA - HR Business Partner, Corporate Staff Departments– Period ~6 months (preferably starting in February)
I. Purpose of the function
To deliver a people agenda through close collaboration with HR Communities of Expertise (CoEs) and People Services. Steering on HRBP topics such as organisational design, change, talent management and performance management by translating the global functional and global HR strategies and priorities into a people agenda and deliver outcomes to ensure human capital is optimally managed.
This role holder will have shared responsibility for a portfolio of the global Risk function and/or strategic HR topics, effectively integrating global CSD and functional priorities. The role requires interaction and advice to be given at the highest level, including country and global management teams.
II. Key Responsibilities
Responsible, together with management, for development and implementation of the HR people agenda to meet the business requirements
Acts as natural sparring partner of management, providing HR support, challenge and advice to multiple business lines on complex cross border issues, involving all relevant stakeholders
Develops organisational capability and leadership succession to anticipate change in business and leadership requirements and execute the business strategy
Drives more robust and transparent performance improvement culture (Step Up)
Partners with countries to enable execution of HR strategy including business transformations (e.g. Target Operating Models)
Deploys workforce analytics as a way to optimise HR decisions
Manages annual compensation round for the assigned global function in order to retain, attract and motivate talent, in line with the recognition management framework of the bank
Responsible for strategic recruitment, including executive searches and team hires
Manages global regulatory investigations in line with Group policies and in compliance with local legislation, including representing the bank towards the regulator
Partner with Senior HRD and countries to drive HR Transformation (HR Unite) and HR capability to ensure highly effective and highly efficient HR support to deploy the bank’s strategy.
III. Experience /Competencies
The HRBP is expected to be knowledgeable on organisation and management principles, HR functional areas and market practices

The Corporate Staff Departments (CSD) has around 10,000 employees working in over 40 countries and consists of different business lines including, Risk, Finance, Legal, HR, Communications and Brand Experience and CAS.
