Job Description:

Typically as an ER Generalist:
• Business Agenda and / or external environment in which the business / market sits presents complexity of stakeholder landscape (i.e. political, NGO, external environment, perception of industry, business growth / divestment agenda, etc.) to translate business strategy to Reputation Strategy for enabling value delivery to business / market. COMPLEXITY OF PORTFOLIO TO BE COMPLETED FOR EACH JOB DESCRIPTION, AS REQUIRED.
• Analysis and advice requested by business concentrates on unique topics (guided by scarce precedents).
• Proactively partners with business leaders, flagging challenges and bringing insights to the table.
• Works across businesses, functional areas and expertise areas.
• Quality of advice will support decision making processes.
• Manages the relation with multiple (groups of) external and internal stakeholders on tactical/strategic level and manages opposite interests.
• Work activities have a moderate impact on assigned business area.
• Translates business challenges (immediate and longer term) and ensures application of the right instruments to create solutions. This approach implies (contribution to) the creation of new approaches.
• May be a leader of indirect teams.

·       Develop and implement the corporate relations strategy across the hub, ensuring alignment with the region (LAC), and business priorities across the hub as well as all lines of business, more value with less emissions.

·       Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, offering counsel on reputation, stakeholder engagement, and issues management.

·       Manage relationships with government entities, regulators, and communities to enable business objectives.

·       Lead reputation and risk management efforts, including media engagement, crisis preparedness, and response.

·       Drive internal change and engagement initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and employee alignment.

·       Oversee the creation of impactful content and campaigns tailored to regional audiences, using data and insights to guide performance.

·       Represent the hub in global Corporate Relations forums, contributing to Shell’s corporate narrative and brand evolution.

·       Co-lead external engagements with senior stakeholders.

·       Support strategic planning, performance reporting, and capability development across the regional Corporate Relations team.

·       Champion Policy and Advocacy, Media Relations, Social Performance including Social investment, as well as Crisis Management.
