Job Description
Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
Your Role: The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible to execute various treasury activities, including but not limited to issuance and management of LCs, IDCs, and payments, cash management, bank relationship management, and insurance management. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to perform deep financial analysis, creatively problem solve, optimization of a range of inputs and scenarios to support effective decision-making, and the capacity to create strong partnerships with a broad range of functions throughout the organization, including with senior management at a regional and global level. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with broader teams is a must.
What You'll Do:
Strong financial and business insight, and strong communication and analytical skills. Also, ability to sustain daily business requirements with quality and independency through timely execution according to business needs.
Working Capital Management
Seek opportunities to optimize MWC
Ensure compliance to corporate policies, regarding payment terms, both for dealers and suppliers
Risk Management
Manage Foreign currency exposure and availability
Manage Insurance policies and handling claims (All risk- Marine and Auto)
Issuance of LCs, SBLCs and other security instruments, fully understanding process and best utilization of different options.
Bring creative solutions to the table to solve for USD shortages in Egypt
Banking Relationship
Support the regional Treasurer in maintaining robust banking relationships
Treasury Back-Office
Oversight of fees and other expenses paid to banks
Look for new system implementation that can streamlines the work
Attention to details and ensure smooth operation of daily activities
Other responsibilities
Support leadership in maintaining adherence to Treasury and
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)
Knowledge and Experience:
+5 years of experience in treasury
Strong financial analysis skills and ability to communicate strategically, both written and oral, including presentations for management
Experience in Treasury Management System implementation will be considered beneficial
