Sr. Supplier Development Engineer

Supplier Development Engineer

This position is responsible for the quality of the product delivered from the supplier to Littelfuse. Develop poor performed supplier by implementing quality tools in suppliers. 8D report review, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, etc. Conducts
audit and qualifies new suppliers. Interface between plant operation and supplier. Interface between the end user and supplier when a quality issue arises. New product involvement-design-in/build-in quality. Continuous improvement in the supply base.

About the job:

• Provide leadership and work with the functional team to resolve supplier quality issues that affect quality metrics and the production line. Include pass through part and raw material shipped to plants.
• Ensure quality tools, methodologies, and requirements are fully implemented in the suppliers' review and 8D report.
• Evaluate the supplier’s performance based on the quality expectation and provide leadership to develop performed supplier to meet the quality expectation.
• Lead continuous improvement project in supply-based, including six sigma and LEAN.
• Perform quality system and process audits, and provide a risk assessment summary and recommendations to the sourcing team and the plant team
• Manage supplier improvement meetings with poorly performing suppliers in the plant.
• Standardized the supplier quality management process and update procedure.
• Support the global environmental health and safety strategy

About you:

• Graduate of any Engineering Courses, preferably as license Engineer
• Strong command skills to lead the supplier quality activity and to ensure the implementation and execution of
• quality management plan and continuous improvement plan.
• Knowledge of the implementation of quality methodologies and control, P-FMEA, process control plan, SPC, and sampling plans
• Problem solving
• Time Management and Project Management
• Fluent English Speaking
• Green belt or black belt certification preferred
