Join a dynamic team at the forefront of sales training and development in the healthcare industry. As our Sales Trainer based in Tokyo, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the success of our Japan sales teams and leading impactful training initiatives. Where You Come In
•     Deliver comprehensive new hire and advanced sales training programs via in-person (Field Training) and virtual formats.
•     Provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives to enhance performance and skill development.
•     Support Regional Sales Managers in Enhancing Their Coaching Capabilities .
•     Collaborate with Japan sales leaders and cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with national and regional business strategies.
•     Assess training needs specific to the Japanese market, update curriculum, and design localized training plans.
•     Lead the planning and execution of Training related Sales Meetings, and contribute to global events as needed.
•     Support onboarding, product launches, and other key sales enablement initiatives.
•     Partner with the global training team to manage and localize content within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
•     Manage training-related vendor relationships and oversee training-related budgets and resources for Japan.
•     Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned by Hiring Manager.

•     You have proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
•     You are fluent in Japanese and English (business-level proficiency required).
•     You bring positive energy, organizational efficiency, and a results-driven mindset.
•     You have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
•     You are flexible and willing to work evenings or weekends to support training events when needed.
Experience and Education
•     Minimum 6 years of experience in sales training and program design within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
•     Minimum 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
•     Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare market.
•     Experience in the diabetes field is a plus.
•     Certifications such as DISC, Situational Leadership, GROW Coaching are a plus.
Travel Required
•     Up to 50% travel, primarily within Japan.
