Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and enhancement of healthcare information systems, with a focus on hospital IT platforms (e.g., HIS, EMR, PACS, LIS).
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Java technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate UI components, ensuring seamless user experience and system performance.
• Deploy and maintain hospital information systems in real clinical environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance with healthcare data standards.
• Architect, document, and maintain software components following the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex system issues.
• Guide and mentor development teams, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices in software engineering.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and system integration methodologies.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Java and backend development.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue/Angular).
• Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining hospital information systems (HIS), or other clinical systems (e.g., EMR, LIS, PACS).
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, DICOM, or FHIR is a plus.
• Experience in leading software teams, managing development schedules, and delivering high-quality software on time.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Self-driven with strong time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.

Desired Characteristics

• Prior experience in medical imaging systems or clinical workflow software development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud) and container-based deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of network programming, system integration, or service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Passion for healthcare IT and a long-term interest in contributing to digital health innovation.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with global teams.
