F5 is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Architect to join our Digital Employee Experience (EX) organization. In this role, you will lead the technical design and strategy of our ServiceNow platform. This role is a critical part of our Platform Services Management sub-pillar, focused on creating a seamless, intuitive, and efficient digital experience for all F5 employees. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration with business partners, has experience with workflow automation, and possesses the ability to see the big picture while delivering incremental value. You will be responsible for translating business needs into a technical reality, ensuring our ServiceNow instance is robust, scalable, governed, and aligned with our strategic goals of driving engagement and productivity.
● Architectural Leadership: Own the overall technical architecture of the ServiceNow platform at F5. Design and oversee the implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and other modules, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
● Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Platform Services team, EX architects, functional delivery teams within EX pillar, and business stakeholders to develop and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap. Lead assessments of current capabilities, identify gaps, and propose solutions to enhance the platform.
● Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the technical design for new applications, integrations, and platform enhancements. Guide a team of developers to ensure solutions are built to be scalable, secure, and maintainable.
● Integration Management: Design and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other key enterprise systems, such as Workday, Oracle, and various SaaS applications, to create a unified digital ecosystem.
● Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance processes for the ServiceNow platform to ensure quality and consistency.
● Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
● 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 4 years in an architect role.
● Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
● Proven experience designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.).
● Deep understanding of ServiceNow integration capabilities (e.g., Integration Hub, REST, SOAP) and experience integrating with enterprise platforms.
● Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide, and other ServiceNow development technologies.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
● Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Experience in building solutions through ServiceNow AI capabilities like NowAssist
