Staff Engineer

What you will do:

  • Develop and update CAD models and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) teams, including participation in drawing reviews.
  • Review and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Take ownership of ECR/ECN execution for legacy products.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support Power BI dashboards.
  • Act as the global point of contact, independently managing customer communications.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively, aligning with timelines and available resources.

What you need:

Required :

  • Experience- 7 years to 9 years; including  minimum 3 years of experience in medical device industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or similar domain
  • Strong proficiency in applying GD&T standards (ISO and ASME) within CAD environments; Solid understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, preferably in orthopaedics.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as PTC Windchill; Hands-on experience in executing product changes via ECRs/ECNs; Good knowledge with design control processes and Design History File (DHF) documentation.

Preferred :

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, especially Creo from PTC.
  • Exposure to requirements management tools like Jama.
