PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
You will shape and lead market-level strategies that drive meaningful membership and revenue growth for BECU. In this role, you’ll influence how the credit union shows up in communities by building strong partnerships, launching high-impact programs, and identifying new opportunities for expansion. Your work will directly support BECU’s long-term strategic goals while helping deepen relationships with members, employers, and affinity partners. You’ll collaborate across teams to turn insight into action and ensure growth initiatives are aligned and measurable. Along the way, you’ll mentor others and elevate business development capabilities across Retail Delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Market Strategy & Growth Leadership: You’ll develop and execute business development strategies within your market that align with BECU’s long-term strategic plan, driving sustainable membership and revenue growth.
Membership Growth Initiatives: You’ll design and support targeted campaigns and community engagement efforts that expand BECU’s reach and relevance in key member segments.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: You’ll identify emerging market opportunities, priority member segments, and strategic partnerships, using market intelligence to inform decisions and direction.
Program Ownership & Results: You’ll own and deliver on membership growth and revenue targets within designated programs, supporting broader retail plans and priorities.
Workplace Banking & Flagship Programs: You’ll lead large-scale initiatives, such as the Workplace Banking Program, to deepen relationships, drive member acquisition, and increase brand visibility.
Financial Collaboration & Performance Tracking: You’ll partner with Finance and Retail leaders to forecast, track, and report business development contributions to key organizational KPIs.
Events & Brand Presence: You’ll plan and execute grand opening celebrations and other high-profile events that strengthen community engagement and awareness.
Partnership Development: You’ll grow relationships with existing affinity partners while developing new B2B opportunities aligned with BECU’s mission and values.
Cross-Functional Alignment: You’ll collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure growth initiatives are aligned, supported, and effectively executed.
Innovation & Expansion: You’ll evaluate innovative business models, fintech partnerships, and digital expansion opportunities to support future growth.
Data-Informed Decision Making: You’ll analyze market trends and member data to guide strategy and continuously refine business development approaches.
Planning & Budgeting: You’ll contribute to operating plans and budgets in partnership with leadership.
Coaching & Mentorship: You’ll provide guidance and mentorship to Business Development and Branch teams, strengthening capabilities and performance across the network.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience
7 years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Expertise in managing strategic partnerships and driving growth
Demonstrated success driving enterprise growth and managing high-impact programs and large-scale relationships with complex organizations
Expertise in affinity group development, B2B strategy, and community-based outreach
Familiarity with banking trends and innovation frameworks
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-informed approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
