Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you as a Sr. Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing the resources assigned to your production area to ensure the achievement of key operational parameters such as delivery performance, fill rate, production mix, engineering samples, training objectives, and human resources (FERH), while maintaining quality standards.

In this role, you will act as a representative of management, coordinating and implementing production and quality improvements that support plant performance objectives. The position is designed to manage the assigned production areas across the different shifts established by plant leadership.

You will also coordinate and control activities within the production areas to ensure alignment with PGBU operational parameters, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, productivity targets, and operational excellence across the manufacturing environment.

In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the correct manufacturing of products, support engineering sample builds, and contribute to process improvements that enhance productivity and product quality.

About the Job:

  • Manage assigned production resources to ensure compliance with delivery, quality, and operational performance targets.

  • Propose and justify improvements to existing products and/or processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing process flow and layout using Lean Manufacturing concepts such as SMED, Takt Time, and cycle time analysis.

  • Investigate root causes of customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper product manufacturing and operational alignment.

  • Implement manufacturing system improvements that support plant performance and operational objectives.

  • Support engineering sample production and assist in testing and evaluating prototypes for new product models.

  • Manage manufacturing systems that ensure quality, capacity, and production standards through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila – On-site.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field).

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in roles closely supporting production lines and product development.

  • Experience working directly with production lines and supporting manufacturing operations.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional departments and managing projects within a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques, including line balancing and problem-solving methodologies.

  • Basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.

  • Experience using computer tools for problem solving and AutoCAD is desirable.

  • Project management and organizational skills.

  • English proficiency preferred.
