Summary
As a Principal/Senior Staff Delivery Engineer at OPIS, you will be the trusted technical leader responsible for driving the successful delivery, integration, and adoption of our AI-powered pricing solutions. You will own the end-to-end customer delivery lifecycle; from discovery to go-live and continuous optimization; ensuring every engagement delivers measurable business impact.
In this role, you will lead complex technical deployments, act as the bridge between customers and product teams, and mentor junior engineers to ensure consistent excellence in delivery execution. Your blend of technical depth, customer empathy, and delivery discipline will make you a key contributor to our customers’ success and OPIS’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery Excellence
Lead multiple concurrent delivery projects from kickoff to production rollout, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and in-scope outcomes.
Translate business requirements into robust technical implementation plans and data integration workflows.
Drive delivery governance; risk management, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure customer confidence and alignment.
Customer Engagement & Success
Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor for enterprise customers throughout their journey.
Guide customers through onboarding, configuration, and integration, ensuring seamless adoption and measurable ROI.
Collaborate closely with customer success managers to ensure post-launch value realization and continuous improvement.
Integration & Automation Expertise
Design and implement integrations using APIs, ETL pipelines, and automation scripts to connect PriceCast with customers’ IT and POS ecosystems.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system performance and data integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Management and R&D to communicate customer insights, shape roadmap priorities, and influence future capabilities.
Contribute to the development of reusable tools, templates, and best practices that elevate delivery efficiency and consistency across projects.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
Support the professional growth of delivery engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and methodology improvements.
Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the Customer Success team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
10+ years of experience delivering complex SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software implementations, ideally in customer-facing roles.
Proven track record in leading delivery or integration projects, managing stakeholders, and ensuring customer success.
Strong hands-on skills in data integration and automation including APIs, data mapping, and scripting (Python, SQL).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; able to engage technical and business audiences alike.
Experience in retail, pricing, fuel, convenience industries or at other large enterprises is highly advantageous.
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
