We are seeking a talented Yield Engineer to join our fast-paced, high-impact team responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of cutting-edge silicon products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Position Overview
As a Yield Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving product success from initial component feasibility through high volume production. This position offers exceptional scope and responsibility, allowing you to make meaningful contributions to complex technical challenges while working with state-of-the-art semiconductor technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Yield Analysis and Optimization: Analyze yield data to attribute failures to correct areas and develop strategic roadmaps for continuous improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Fab (wafer manufacturing), Design, QnR, Test, Assembly and Test Factories and Foundry teams to optimize manufacturing processes to improve overall product yield.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex interactions between fabrication processes and tester platforms
- Technical Communication: Present complex technical findings to diverse audiences with clarity and precision
- Cost Management: Balance yield improvements with test time costs to minimize overall product expenses
- Quality Assurance: Investigate early customer returns and drive test coverage improvements

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, Software or related engineering discipline + 6+ years of FAB/Semiconductor experience, OR Master of Science in Electrical, Computer, Software or related engineering discipline + 4+ years of FAB/Semiconductor experience, OR PhD in Electrical, Computer, Software or related engineering discipline + 2+ years of FAB/Semiconductor experience
- 1+ years of programming/scripting experience
- 2+ years data analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 4 years experience in semiconductor industry
- Previous yield analysis experience
- Scripting/Programming expertise of JMP/JSL, Python, Exensio Analytics Platform
- Test Development: Understanding of test program content development and debug methods
- Problem-Solving Methodology: Ability to define a problem statement, work simultaneous model-based solutions and drive to complete root-cause with cross-functional teams
- Project Management: Ability to track many simultaneous activities and communicate status and risk level to management

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $139,710.00-262,680.00 USD
