Sr. Procurement Specialist

Omaha, Nebraska Full time
Reporting to the Director, Procurement, you'll partner with cross-functional Supply Chain, IT, Finance and Supplier resources in addition to extensive collaboration with Enterprise Procurement category management (Proteins, Ingredients, Commodities, Packaging, Contract Manufacturing, and Indirect Procurement) to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Enterprise Procurement Insights & Analytics Team. 

You'll develop a deep understanding of procurement systems and processes that allows significant contribution to a variety of cross-functional projects, including advancement of Procurement’s Digital Roadmap, through assisting with the implementation of tools and processes that help reach savings goals. 

Position Responsibilities
  • Drive streamlined Supply Chain processes across the organization. 
  • This will be achieved through:
    • Extensive dialog with business partners to understand business requirements,
    • Creative problem-solving that demonstrates an “art of the possible” mindset,
    • Proactively engage cross-functional personnel at various career levels, and an understanding of when to escalate issues requiring the attention of leadership.
    • Take full ownership of work assignments that will often include a degree of ambiguity.
    • Written and verbal communication skills that are aligned with the needs and career level of the audience.
    • Achieve and maintain power-user status by working with other super-users within the following tools and systems:  SAP ECC and additional SAP modules, Project Management tools, and various reporting and dashboard applications.
Position Qualifications
  • BS/BA in General Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related major.
  • 5+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Project Management roles.
  • Influence management and team building experience
  • Strong skill set using relevant technology, including SAP, Power BI, MS Excel, Clarizen, PowerPoint and other analysis software.
  • Availability for travel approximately 10% of time
  • In Office 3 Days per week Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
