The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Payroll team: 

What You Will do

  • Monitor legislative updates (via ADP) and coordinate required employee-level or system configuration changes.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members; participate in training and cross-training to strengthen team capability.

  • Audit W-2c forms and payroll adjustment transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper reconciliation.

  • Research and resolve complex payroll tax issues, including multistate and multi-jurisdiction matters.

  • Ensure timely payroll tax reconciliations and partner with accounting to implement corrective actions.

  • Manage exception filings, registrations, and related compliance requirements.

  • Handle and resolve ServiceNow (SNOW) requests, inquiries, and escalations.

  • Ensure all year-end deliverables and statutory deadlines are met accurately and on time.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and timely responses.

  • Contribute to payroll projects, process improvements, and tool enhancements to drive efficiency and better employee experience.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum for 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in related field.

  • 2+ years of experience with payroll processes, payroll tax withholding, and related regulations.

  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel and Word and strong PC-based skills.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of legacy systems, including ADP EV5, ADP Smart Compliance, and other reporting tools.

  • Broad understanding of payroll concepts, policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information concisely to various stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders, and work within established guidelines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Self-starter; ability to drive changes to promote productivity and efficiency.

  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel and Word and strong PC-based skills.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Greenville, TX, Farmington, CT, or Cedar Rapids, IA.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
