ABOUT THE ROLE

The Chaplaincy Trainer is responsible for delivering high‑quality chaplaincy training and assessment that meets identified learner needs and current industry requirements. This role supports vocational learners to build practical chaplaincy skills, successfully achieve their learning goals, and grow in confidence and capability.

The role is permanent part time (minimum 15.2 hours) based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery and Assessment: deliver high quality chaplaincy training programs on campus, online or in the workplace in accordance with RTO procedure.
  • Learner Management: source and contextualise training materials, mark submitted assessments within the required timeframe and provide meaningful feedback to the learners.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify priorities and deliver integrated training solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: contribute to the evaluation program of RTO activities including compilation of reports with key learnings and recommendations to be incorporated back into strategic plans and future planning.

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in supporting diverse cohorts of learners on campus and online. To be successful in this role you will require;

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
  • Diploma of Chaplaincy.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chaplain.
