Job Title: Senior Partner Manager – Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Alliances

Location: Japan, Tokyo
Genesys is seeking a Senior Partner Manager for Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Strategic Alliances to expand and strengthen our partnerships with global alliance, BPO, and GSI partners in Japan.
Reporting to the Director, Partner Sales Lead, this role plays a critical part in driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, deepening executive alignment, and accelerating joint growth with our global partners.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Manage a dedicated portfolio of GSI and strategic alliance partners, ensuring achievement of annual revenue and performance targets.
Develop and execute partner-specific business and execution plans, aligning with the GSI’s global and regional structure.
Drive joint go-to-market (GTM) activities, including pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, co-selling, and solution positioning.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with GSI leadership teams, ensuring strategic alignment across sales, delivery, and technical practices.
Lead joint governance and cadence meetings, including QBRs and joint business reviews, to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to build scalable partner programs and success plans.
Communicate and position the Genesys Cloud value proposition, highlighting AI, digital, and CX transformation capabilities to GSI partners.
Secure and defend existing partner revenues and lead initiatives to migrate legacy, on-premises solutions to cloud environments.
Support partner enablement and capability growth through certifications, joint enablement sessions, and incentive programs that accelerate mutual profitability.
Track and report partner performance metrics, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy through CRM tools and business reviews.
8+ years of experience in partner sales, alliance management, or account sales in the IT or technology industry, preferably within the GSI ecosystem.
Proven experience managing relationships with major Global System Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, NTT etc.
Strong understanding of GSI business models, including practice development, co-sell motions, global contracting, and offshore delivery structures.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex global organizations and align multiple stakeholders across sales, delivery, and partner ecosystems.
Excellent skills in joint opportunity planning, pipeline management, and executive stakeholder communication.
Solid understanding of the competitive landscape (Cloud, Contact Center, SaaS, CX transformation).
Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn.
Hands-on experience developing joint GTM strategies and governance frameworks with global partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a matrix environment.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS economics and profitability.
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage cross-regional initiatives effectively.
Ability to leverage digital tools, social media, and video engagement to strengthen partner collaboration and visibility.
