Position Summary:

This position provides a great opportunity to help Unified Communications within a complex environment. Microsoft Teams engineer that must be SME in Teams Voice solution development and implementations. Primarily responsible for migration of legacy PBXs globally to Microsoft Teams.  Knowledge of O365/Skype for Business/MS Teams and SIP will allow the correct candidate to be successful in this role. The successful candidate will deploy & support our Microsoft Teams Voice Platform globally. Duties include Design, deployment and resolving issues on Microsoft Teams, System Monitoring, Major outage management, supporting ticket resolution, project management and coordinate our telecom vendors to deliver a quality service to our business colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete PBX migration via Microsoft Teams Enterprise voice.
  • Ability to plan, design, deploy, and support Teams Voice and associated network, device, and telephony infrastructures O365 & Microsoft Teams configuration and support.
  • Provide an excellent employee experience when interacting with business colleagues.
  • Monitor for P1 incidents and coordinate the day-to-day tickets raised for voice infrastructure.
  • Perform monthly analysis and provide any reports required.
  • Support  on-call rotation initiative to support the business 24x7
  • Assist and participate in developing cost estimates and proposals for new system requirements.
  • Makes major contributions to teams and assumes technical project ownership role for engagements.
  • Anticipates and identifies business requirements and recommends solutions to problems.
  • Build and maintain documentation
  • Align with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years experience within a Unified Communications role.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Team Voice integration and design for Enterprise Voice Solutions
  • Ribbon Communications Session Border Controller Experience
  • Teams Voice Deployment Experience
  • Direct Routing Experience
  • MS Teams endpoints including but not limited to IP phones.
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • Knowledge about various PBXs including but not limited to Avaya, Cisco, Session Border Controllers & Media Gateways SIP trunks (Centralized, Local)
  • Experiences on design, configuration and expansion of a Microsoft Teams and Avaya VoIP.
  • Knowledge in Service Delivery, IT Infrastructure and Operational support
  • Demonstrates proven project management skills
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a detailed understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
