Job Purpose:
As a Meetings & Events (M&E) Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of M&E and a team of planners to deliver high-impact employee and customer-facing experiences (both in-person and virtual/hybrid) that support TruStage's strategic business development, customer-relationship, and branding goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee planning, budgeting and logistics for meetings, conferences, events, and workshops. Represents TruStage and internal business leaders by serving as first point of contact for all event attendees, hotels, and vendors. Coordinates communication and interactions between attendees, planners, and management.
Accountable for overall meeting management including financial reporting, preparing files for audit purposes, and working with business owners on budget and spending per event. Authorize and approve spend associated with meetings and events based on agreed upon budget.
Manage relationship and collaborate with travel provider, Destination Management Company, and other meeting suppliers for specific events.
Perform registration coordination and attendee management, work with outsourced vendor on creation and maintenance of website, badges, confirmation letters, and reporting.
Work with Corporate Communications on branded materials related to meetings.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience. Certified Meeting Professional preferred.
5+ years of experience in hotel sales, convention services or meeting planning.
Working knowledge of and demonstrated success in meeting setups, program development and AV equipment, hotel services/operations.
Strong negotiation, communication, organization, management and decision making skills.
Understanding of technology, social media and web-site development.
Attention to detail.
Ability to travel.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework or related professional work experience in business, marketing, communications.
Proficiency with event registration and CRM systems, and familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms.
Strong financial mindset - ability to analyze metrics, interpret data, and make recommendations to refine future strategy.
This hybrid position requires flexibility to travel, work off-site, and occasionally support M&E that may occur after regular business hours.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$73,100.00 - $109,700.00
