Job Description
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Develop and mentor engineering talent to build a resilient and agile team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to meet and exceed operational goals.
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Oversee new product introductions, including process design, tooling, and equipment deployment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through robust validation and verification practices.
- Manage manufacturing releases and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead EHS and compliance efforts aligned with plant and corporate goals.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing strategies and drive cultural adoption.
- Design and optimize processes to reduce cycle time and enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production and packaging systems.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all production equipment.
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies; identify and report any EHS concern and support on corrective actions.
Quality Expectations:
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering (or related field). Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production, or technical troubleshooting. Leadership in cross-functional and international teams. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Communication and analytical skills. Bilingual. Expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC) Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing effective corrective actions Proficiency in managing CAPA systems, including documentation, tracking, and closure of actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in Engineering or Business Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification Expertise in electronics, software programming, and mechanical design Experience with digitalization and process integration Strong project management and facilitation skills Knowledge of materials mechanics and advanced manufacturing technologies Ability to perform under ambiguity and deliver consistent results under pressure
