Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A

Role Description

The Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A role reports to the Sr. Director, Head of Strategic FP&A and will be working closely with FP&A, Strategy, BD/M&A, and business units to support the long-range planning processes, continuous improvement initiatives in FP&A capability, and contributes to shaping financial narratives for internal stakeholders. The role plays an important part in advancing FP&A’s impact, developing financial strategy capabilities, and ensuring consistency across financial activities. The role reports directly to the Sr Director, Head of Strategic FP&A.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Long-Range Planning & Scenario Analysis

  • Support the company’s long-range planning (LRP) process, including developing scenario models, sensitivities, and supporting risk analysis.
  • Ensure the financial impacts of initiatives are incorporated accurately in planning outputs.
  • Regularly assess and refine key assumptions to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership in evaluating trade-offs, risks, and opportunities for value creation.

Capital Allocation & Investment Analysis

  • Contribute to capital allocation and resource planning, supporting capex planning and investment prioritization.
  • Apply established financial frameworks to evaluate investment proposals, portfolio opportunities, and ROI.
  • Support disciplined decision-making across business investments, innovation, and growth initiatives.

FP&A Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Drive FP&A improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and enhanced data analytics.
  • Support the implementation of scalable tools, standardized processes, and upgraded reporting capabilities.
  • Help evolve FP&A’s role from reporting to proactive strategic support.

Governance Support

  • Prepare high-quality analyses and materials for management and leadership meetings, including long-range plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate financial concepts and scenarios to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Enterprise Alignment & Forecasting Integrity

  • Partner with Corporate Financial Analysis to ensure consistent data, aligned assumptions, and reliable forecasting across the organization.
  • Help maintain strong governance over financial models, metrics, and planning processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required; Master’s, MBA or relevant advanced credential (MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis (commercial, functional or corporate) or financial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), analysis, and preparing effective presentations (PowerPoint).
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as S4/HANA, Anaplan, HFM, Essbase, OneStream, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to collaborate and influence across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to craft clear, data-driven presentations and business cases for management audiences.
  • Track record of supporting change initiatives, leveraging analytics to drive insights and operational improvement.
  • Experience working in matrixed teams and partnering with business unit leaders.
  • Self-directed, resilient professional who manages competing priorities efficiently.
  • Accountable and results-oriented; demonstrates ownership of projects within their scope.
  • Effective time management skills; able to deliver results on tight deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000.00- $209,000.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range

for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional

factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

 

This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.

This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
