1. Strategic eSystems Ownership: 

  • Anticipates downstream risks and opportunities, ensuring systems evolve to meet changing regulatory and business needs. 
  • Moves beyond basic support to influence vendor product roadmaps and negotiate feature requests 
  • Leads initiatives to integrate eSystems with other DCR and Village technologies.
  • Proactively identifies system inefficiencies and designs technical solutions that reduce site burden while enhancing data quality. 
  • Ensures the electronic regulatory environment (eDocs, eDOA, eConsent) remains perpetually audit-ready, anticipating auditor expectations and configuring systems to mitigate risk.

2. Training Governance & Competency Development

  • Contributes to the design and implementation of DCR’s centralized training governance model. Aids in moving the organization from “documentation tracking” to a true “competency-based” training framework. 
  • Collaborates with Clinical Operations leadership to define core competencies for site roles designing high-impact training curricula that address root cause quality issues and prevent recurrence. 
  • Develops metrics to measure training effectiveness (not just completion). 
  • Analyzes quality trends (NERDs, monitor findings) to trigger targeted retraining or curriculum adjustments. 
  • Equips sites, peers, and people leaders with the tools and data they need to be effective trainers for their own teams, shifting the culture from “QA-led training” to “Leader-led competency.”

3. Quality Risk Management & Data Integrity

  • Designs and oversees the centralized risk assessment framework. 
  • Utilizes system data to identify “at-risk” sites or processes proactively, deploying resources before critical deviations occur.  
  • Serves as the guardian of data integrity across central and site-based operations.
  • Oversees the Quality Assurance review of central EDC data entry, establishing systemic controls that prevent errors. 
  • Leads root cause analysis for complex, system-wide quality issues.
  • Designing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) that address the process or system flaw rather than just the individual symptom.

4. Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence (15%) 

  • Acts as a key consultant and trusted advisor to the Director of Quality Assurance and Clinical Operations leadership on matters of technology and compliance.
  • Leads complex change management initiatives (e.g., system migrations, new workflow rollouts).
  • Crafts communication strategies that secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders, from site coordinators to executives.
  • Mentors and develops direct reports and high-potential teammates within the broader Quality lane.

Fosters a culture of psychological safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

7.Other duties as assigned.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $98,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
