DESCRIPTION:
Lead sophisticated, global program initiatives while serving as a strategic partner for Thermo Fisher Scientific's ongoing growth and innovation. Guide innovative thinking and foster collaboration across geographies and functions to successfully deliver complex projects ranging from business transformations and system implementations to process improvements and regulatory compliance initiatives. Build and support high-performing project teams while establishing an environment of excellence aligned with Thermo Fisher's values. Partner with senior leadership to define project scope, goals, and success metrics while ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Act as the primary point of contact for project status, proactively identifying and addressing risks through effective strategies and clear communication to all stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience managing complex, global programs and project initiatives
• Preferred Fields of Study: business, engineering, science or related field
• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) highly desirable
• Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) a plus
• Lean/Six Sigma certification beneficial
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Demonstrated success implementing large-scale business transformations, system integrations, or process improvements
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
• Experience in finance operations, customer service, procurement or related business functions
• Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success building and developing teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
• Experience with project management tools and systems
• Change management and stakeholder engagement expertise
• Adaptable to changing project demands and varied environments
• Interpersonal awareness and conflict resolution abilities
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in English required; additional languages beneficial
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
• Experience in regulated/GMP environment preferred
