Job Description
Within Global DRS Product Operations, the Senior Manager, Product Operations (Execution & Delivery) serves as the primary operational execution leader and backup to the Senior Director. This role is accountable for tactical execution, operational rigor, cadence ownership, and delivery discipline across the DRS ecosystem.
This role is intentionally designed as a development role, with the expectation that within approximately 12 months, a high-performing Senior Manager will be eligible to progress into a Director-level role based on demonstrated execution excellence, leadership maturity, and business impact.
The Senior Manager ensures strategic priorities are translated into clear operating plans, measurable outcomes, and repeatable processes, enabling senior leadership to remain focused on global strategy and transformation initiatives.
The role works closely with Vendor Management, S&OP, Installations, Field Service, Finance, IT, and regional stakeholders to ensure operational readiness, execution alignment, and consistent delivery across devices, warehousing, refurbishment, installations, service, and consumables.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Own day-to-day execution of Product Operations initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities set by senior leadership
Serve as operational lead across vendors providing devices, warehousing, refurbishment, installations, field service, and consumables
Translate strategic objectives into actionable operating plans, milestones, and execution roadmaps
Drive vendor compliance to contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and standard operating procedures
Lead operational reviews including MBRs and QBRs; maintain agendas, performance materials, action tracking, and closure
Identify operational risks, capacity constraints, inventory gaps, and execution blockers; drive mitigation plans to resolution
Oversee inventory readiness and execution in partnership with S&OP to support demand plans
Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data, dashboards, and reporting used across Finance, Sales, Installations, and Leadership
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (A3, Kaizen, root cause analysis) focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and cycle time reduction
Support vendor onboarding, performance recovery, and transition initiatives as required
Act as escalation point for operational issues while maintaining strong focus on customer experience and financial outcomes
Coordinate and align global stakeholders across regions and time zones to ensure consistent execution
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business and or MBA, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. Typically 5–8 years of progressive experience in operations, vendor management, supply chain, or related roles, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed environment
Strong operational and execution leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives
Demonstrated ability to drive tactical execution while balancing competing priorities
Proven experience managing vendors to contractual, operational, and financial outcomes
Strong financial and operational acumen with ability to link execution decisions to P&L impact
Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization
Comfort working in ambiguity while bringing structure, cadence, and accountability
Experience with inventory management, installations, field service, refurbishment, or device lifecycle operations preferred
Working knowledge of operational IT concepts including asset management systems, reporting tools, and dashboards
