A dedicated Transition Manager is essential to ensure that transitions are executed efficiently and at the high standard required for both new and existing clients. This role will be embedded within the procurement team, reporting in a matrix structure to the Global IFM and Procurement Transition Lead.

POSITION PURPOSE

The principal purpose of the Procurement Manager is to execute and deliver end-to-end global transition and transformation of the supply chain.   The desired result is a cost effective and transparent service to the client account team.  This could be either for new or existing client account teams.  Tasks include leading and supporting strategic sourcing mobilisations or transformations,  data analytics, and working with Clients, Suppliers and the C&W Account Team on specific requests.  This role is a key partner in the ongoing development of Global Transition and Transformation processes to champion standards and alignment within all regions.  Following stabilisation periods it is also to provide continued support to both account teams and the supply chain through SRM activities and ongoing supplier governance using the GOS procurement processes

ROLE PROFILE

Key Duties

  • Responsible for overseeing the procurement workstream for new and existing client accounts, ensuring that all contractual deliverables are achieved.
  • Analysis of service scope and spend to build supplier strategies for transition and ongoing business as usual in collaboration with the client account teams
  • Perform due diligence on existing supplier base for spend, current contract types and practices, and contribute to and execute the transition strategy
  • Monitor, track and report overall Procurement transition progress; identifying potential risks and issues with business and service line leader to identify mitigation strategies.
  • Orchestrate and manage all tasks associated with the onboarding of suppliers in support of the client account during transition. Check supplier compliance documentation for adherence to C&W procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards during onboarding process.
  • Document and post all deviations from the signed MSA to ensure account and leadership have the necessary data to address with the client for contractual edits.
  • Ensure strong linkage, support, and communication with client's leadership throughout the transition process.
  • Oversee and coordinate post-transition transformation activities throughout the 90-day period following the account go-live date.
  • Facilitate the collection of best practices, capabilities, and resources to ensure effective transitions and transformations.
  • Support the ongoing development of procurement processes to drive efficiencies, accuracy, and quality within the procurement team
  • Support other procurement projects as required by the procurement team

Skill and Experience

  • Experience of Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Good data analytical skills essential
  • Good numeracy skills are required.
  • Good engagement skills and the ability to confidently interact is beneficial.
