Job Title: Sr. Manager, People & Experience Business Partner - Americas Marketplace
Reports to: Director, People & Experience
Location: Remote - must be within commutable distance to Goleta, CA or NYC, NY
The Role
The Sr. Manager, People & Experience Business Partner (PXBP) serves as the senior strategic PX leader for the Americas Marketplace, partnering with multiple brand and functional leadership teams to shape and execute a people strategy that drives performance, engagement, and organizational health across the region.
You’ll provide direct partnership to the Americas Marketplace General Managers and their leadership teams, ensuring alignment between business priorities and PX strategies. As both a strategic advisor and people leader, you’ll oversee a PX Generalist and influence other PXBPs supporting the Marketplace organization to ensure consistency, connectivity, and excellence in execution. Operating with significant autonomy and enterprise scope, you’ll also collaborate closely with Global Marketplace COE leaders and PX Centers of Excellence to shape and implement programs that build capability, enable transformation, and strengthen the Deckers culture across geographies and brands.

Your Impact
Serve as the senior PX partner to Americas Marketplace General Managers and leadership teams, driving a cohesive people strategy that advances business goals and cultural priorities
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies that enhance scalability and capability across multiple brands or business units
Provide executive-level coaching and counsel to strengthen leadership effectiveness and team performance
Use data, insights, and business acumen to anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and guide strategic decisions
Partner with Finance and business leadership on workforce optimization and organizational investment planning
Lead and develop a PX Generalist, providing direction, coaching, and prioritization to ensure effective delivery of PX operations and engagement activities
Provide mentorship and thought leadership to other PXBPs supporting the Americas business, promoting alignment, capability building, and best-practice sharing
Drive accountability for consistent PX service delivery and employee experience across Marketplace functions and brands
Collaborate with Global Marketplace COE leaders (e.g., eCommerce, Retail) to ensure Americas priorities are reflected in global strategies and initiatives
Represent the Americas perspective in global PX and business forums, contributing to enterprise planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives
Partner with global PX COEs (Talent, Total Rewards, People Success, etc.) to co-design programs that address business needs while reinforcing global consistency
Lead change management and organizational transformation efforts that enable agility and performance
Champion culture and engagement initiatives that reinforce Deckers’ leadership behaviors and PX values
Build leadership capability to navigate ambiguity, drive accountability, and inspire teams through change
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of progressive HR or PX business partnership experience, including significant experience supporting senior executives in a global, matrixed organization
Proven track record designing and executing strategic people plans that drive business outcomes and cultural transformation
Proven ability to manage and develop PX team members
Experience collaborating across global and regional functions to align priorities and deliver cohesive solutions
Demonstrated strength in organization design, leadership development, and talent planning
Experience leading organizational transformation and complex change management initiatives

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
