The Manager, Rapid Application Development, will use low-code development to transform the delivery of healthcare through innovative technology. This role will collaborate with others on initiatives critical to the success of the enterprise. This includes large-scale operating model changes, incubation and development of disruptive technologies, development and operationalization of growth strategies and process re-engineering.
The Manager will work with a team of highly-motivated individuals with management consulting, process engineering, change management, and healthcare delivery experience and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and communicate recommendations to senior executives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Requirements Development and Grooming:
Leads team in designing and developing low-code applications (hands-on platform training provided) following established timelines, application development standards, and quality processes
Communicates with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements to fully understand their needs, coaching other members of the team to do the same.
Effectively manages prototype development projects, including testing, and release planning; drives own projects as well as those of their team forward simultaneously
Learns workflows and identifies barriers / opportunities to advance workflow and application build efficiency, turning insights into action.
Processes and reacts to feedback in a structured way; identifies next steps and develops process improvement plans
Collaborative Problem Solving:
Creates structure for ambiguous problems and thinks creatively
Troubleshoots and debugs issues, identifying root causes and long-term solutions
Proactively identifies roadblocks or conflicts within project or partner(s) and resolves independently
Strategic Synthesis:
Consistently derives actionable business insights from analysis of complex issues, from own and broader project(s)
Easily transitions high-level strategy and complex insights into actionable opportunities (i.e., experiments)
Coaches broader team through insight generation, experimentation and translation to project process
Makes day-to-day portfolio decisions with minimal direction from Director
Written & Oral Communication:
Consistently demonstrates ability to prepare & deliver effective comms, based on leadership audience
Works closely with end users and develops long-standing relationships with operators and clinicians
Successfully manages relationships with senior business leaders and influences diverse group of stakeholders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required at times; though typical travel is 5-10%
Minimum Qualifications
6-9 years of total work experience in progressive roles
1+ year programming / coding language experience: Java, Python, CSS, Javascript, etc.
Basic SQL proficiency
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Evidence of strong partnership ability

The Salary Range for the role is $98,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
