Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate strategic sourcing process for the Crops categories.
Lead team to perform market and industry analysis, supplier research and review, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing events, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation.
Drive value through the contracting process by ensuring the most optimal terms and conditions for Kraft Heinz, while not negatively impacting service or quality.
Develop multi-year category strategies and lead ongoing category management to ensure the most effective supply base design. This role links closely with several cross functional areas from an overall project management perspective and strategy execution.
Lead development of Joint Development plans with critical suppliers around long-term objectives and strategies, ongoing market trends, innovation and technology advances, and potential investment decisions.
Responsible for the delivery of specific productivity and cash flow targets in alignment with overarching goals and objectives, with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The scope of the role includes category financial planning and budget setting as related to respective spend areas.
Support major supplier issues and work with across Procurement and cross-functional teams to identify and drive resolutions.
Manages various activities as related to systems and process, and is responsible for learning, understanding, and following all Kraft Heinz policies, in addition to Procurement policies and procedures as part of the overarching Procurement governance model.
Interact closely with the Procurement Global Category Leads/Directors and other cross-functional senior leadership within the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field. Candidates possessing equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of five (5) plus years of experience in direct procurement, i.e., Ingredients, Packaging, etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of eProcurement Source-to-Pay Tools (Ariba, SAP, Jaggaer, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience and proficiency in leading small and large group presentations.
Effectively able to be direct but diplomatic to negotiate and influence business decisions.
Ability to influence without authority, coach team members, and build relationships/establish trust, strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, resilient, and collaborative.
An appetite for learning and openness to new ideas and alternative approaches to achieving best outcomes.
Able to quickly develop a level of organizational agility, quickly learning how to get things accomplished through formal and informal channels.
Able to balance competing priorities, spend time and the time of others on most important activities, and eliminate roadblocks to create focus.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$120,800.00 - $151,000.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
