POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Total Rewards Strategy:

  • Design, implement, and continuously evolve compensation frameworks that align with Pfizer’s global philosophy and India’s business priorities.
  • Anticipate market trends and proactively recommend strategic adjustments to ensure Pfizer remains an employer of choice.

Executive & Stakeholder Influence:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business and HR leaders, providing strategic counsel on compensation matters that impact organizational effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed compensation best practices and foster a high-performance culture.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning:

  • Drive market benchmarking and participate in industry forums to ensure Pfizer’s compensation offerings are competitive and differentiated.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external consultants and peer organizations to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Partner with Global Benefits to ensure market competitiveness in our benefits offerings.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure robust governance and compliance with all local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to compensation and benefits.

Data Analytics & Insights:

  • Harness advanced analytics to generate actionable insights, inform strategic decisions, and measure the effectiveness of compensation programs.
  • Develop and present executive dashboards and reports to influence leadership decisions.

Change Leadership & Communication:

  • Lead change management efforts for new compensation initiatives, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder buy-in.

Champion a culture of transparency, equity, and continuous improvement in total rewards.


Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience
 

Minimum of 10 years in C&B  and /or HR

  • MBA in HR or related field
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, with a track record of strategic impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
  • Advanced analytical and data visualization skills; expertise in Excel and HRIS (Workday preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor market, regulatory environment, and global compensation trends.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

High integrity, business acumen, and resilience under pressure.
