We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager / Director of Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cultivating and managing strategic partnerships within the advertising technology industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company by establishing and nurturing key partnerships with other organizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives and contribute to our overall success.
What You Will Do:
- Deal Negotiation
- Handle end to end negotiations for new deals and renewals with partners.
- Collaborate with BD leadership and Legal on negotiating strategy and tactics.
- Partnership Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports the company's growth objectives, focusing on key areas of technology collaboration, joint ventures, and alliances.
- Identify potential partners, evaluate their alignment with our goals, and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and potential impact.
- Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, including technology companies, startups, industry associations, and academic institutions.
- Initiate discussions, negotiations, and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships that drive innovation and business growth.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts and agreements meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to define partnership requirements, objectives, and integration plans.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Strategic Planning:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential partnership opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Develop business cases and presentations to articulate the strategic rationale, potential benefits, and ROI of proposed partnerships.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for each partnership to track performance and measure the impact on business growth.
- Regularly review and report on partnership performance, making recommendations for optimization and improvement.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives to successful completion.
- Experience in analyzing complex business and financial data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as required for partner meetings and industry events.

- The base pay range for this position is $115,000-170,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid and titled depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
