Overview
We’re seeking a driven, client‑focused investment professional to help grow our Institutional Liquidity business. In this role, you’ll partner with sophisticated institutional clients to deliver tailored liquidity and investment solutions while generating meaningful revenue for the bank. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor—combining deep product expertise, market insight, and consultative selling skills to help clients meet their investment objectives in a complex and dynamic marketplace.

What You’ll Do
Develop and grow relationships with intermediary clients by selling liquidity and investment products that align with their goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, market research, and data‑driven sales planning
Act as a subject‑matter expert on liquidity solutions, asset management products, and broader market trends
Deliver customized, high‑impact presentations to large and complex institutional clients
Partner closely with Product and Investments teams to ensure solutions and strategies meet evolving client needs
Stay current on regulatory developments, industry trends, and competitive offerings to sharpen your market insight
Negotiate pricing and fee structures in response to client proposals, driving win‑win outcomes
What We’re Looking For
5 -7 years of experience in institutional investment sales or a closely related field
Strong expertise in liquidity products, with broad knowledge of investment management (fixed income, equities—active and passive—cash securities, and international investments)
Proven ability to translate complex investment solutions into clear, compelling value propositions
Confidence presenting to and influencing senior decision‑makers at institutional clients
Effective negotiation and relationship‑building skills
Self‑starter mindset with strong planning, prioritization, and execution capabilities
Required Licenses
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (required)

Salary Range:
$137,400 - 233,600 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
