The Role

  • Administer, configure, and enhance ServiceNow ITAM (HAM & SAM) modules.
  • Lead implementation and optimization of IT asset lifecycle processes (procure-to-retire).
  • Manage CMDB and asset data governance to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, integrations, and automation within ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and executive-level metrics.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, IT Operations, Security, Finance, and Compliance teams.
  • Oversee discovery and integration tools to ensure accurate asset reconciliation.
  • Drive software license compliance and optimization initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems (ERP, SCCM, procurement tools, etc.).
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to IT governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior administrators and provide technical leadership within the platform team.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities.


Who You Are

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience administering ServiceNow.
  • 5+ years of direct experience with ServiceNow ITAM.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB architecture and data models.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer).
  • Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
  • Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and ITIL processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing software licensing compliance and reconciliation.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • ServiceNow ITAM Certification (HAM or SAM).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB Health.
  • Knowledge of SaaS license management and cloud asset tracking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (JavaScript preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience in large enterprise environments (10,000+ assets).
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
  • Experience leading ITAM transformation initiatives.
