The Role

  • Own and lead the administration and operational strategy of the enterprise ServiceNow platform
  • Serve as the senior-most escalation point for complex platform and production issues
  • Define, enforce, and govern enterprise ServiceNow administrative standards and best practices
  • Lead platform upgrades, major releases, patches, and hotfixes across environments
  • Oversee user, role, ACL, and authentication management, ensuring least-privilege access
  • Govern CMDB administration, CSDM alignment, and data quality initiatives
  • Partner with development teams on deployment strategy, environment management, and release coordination
  • Monitor platform health, performance, and availability; proactively mitigate operational risks
  • Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Mentor and guide administrators and operations staff across teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to platform owners and enterprise stakeholders


Who You Are

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of ServiceNow administration experience in large enterprise environments
  • Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration
  • Proven experience acting in a lead or platform owner capacity
  • Extensive experience managing ServiceNow upgrades and enterprise release cycles
  • Strong expertise in CMDB administration, governance, and data quality management
  • Advanced troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
  • Deep understanding of ITSM processes and enterprise service operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or highly controlled enterprise environments
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts)
  • Experience with ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management
  • Familiarity with identity integrations (SSO, LDAP, Azure AD, etc.)
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS, or other advanced certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
