We are actively seeking a Sr. IT Asset Analyst. This role is based in India, Hyderabad.

Role Overview

The Sr. IT Asset Analyst manages the lifecycle of all IT assets—hardware, software, and related services—ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This role partners closely with IT Operations analysts to drive process improvements through automation and Copilot agents, supporting a modern, efficient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IT asset management policies and procedures, integrating automation and Copilot agents where possible to streamline workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, licenses, and warranties using ITAM tools and automation for data accuracy.
• Oversee procurement, deployment, and disposal of IT assets, identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with licensing agreements, leveraging automation for audit preparation and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance teams for budgeting and forecasting, using data-driven insights and automated reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of Copilot agents and other automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Prepare detailed reports on asset performance and utilization, utilizing advanced Excel, reporting tools, and AI-driven analytics.
• Prepare and maintain process documents and procedures, ensuring they reflect current automation practices.
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain compliance, and proactively recommend enhancements through technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management or related field.
• Certifications: ITIL, IAITAM, or SAM preferred.
• Experience with automation tools, Copilot agents, or similar AI-driven solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ITAM tools, CMDB systems, and automation platforms.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills, including experience with AI-powered analytics.
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements through technology and automation.
