Sr Implementation Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting our Powerflex solutions, utilizing your expertise in scripting with Python and virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenShift.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Implement and support Powerflex solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
* Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency
* Utilize VMware and OpenShift virtualization technologies to deploy and manage applications
* Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on Powerflex implementation and usage
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge sharing

**Requirements**

* Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
* Understanding of Linux development and major distributions, including Ubuntu
* Ability to install and configure Ubuntu Desktop and Linux
* Familiarity with Linux Essentials and Linux Overview and Installation
* Proficiency in using the Linux command line
* Strong scripting skills in Python
* Experience with VMware and OpenShift virtualization technologies
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Must Have Skills:
PowerFlex – Primary skill PowerFlex APIs Scripting – Python (intermediate level is fine). Customer uses python heavily. Basic knowledge of Linux OS, Vmware virtualization, OpenShift Project Tasks: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: • Solid understanding of SAN, NAS and Object storage • Experience performing logical and build and decommission of storage devices • Experience assisting with planning, architecting, and implementing large scale migrations of storage platform • Expertise in managing all kinds/levels of incidents and refresh related work in FC technologies • Experience managing Incident/Change/Problem management in mission critical BSFI environment • Experience with managing block storage environment namely, Powerflex • Hands-on experience with decommission process of all the above SAN technologies • Advanced knowledge of Performance and Capacity management for Block and File storage • Software development experience in at least one general purpose programming language : Python, Java, C, C++, Go, Shell scripting. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives • Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work. • Be a team player and a leader who shows commitment, dedication and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75000-100,000
