What You Will Do
1. Technical Maintenance & Repairs
Perform hands-on internal and external maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds care, and HVAC repairs.
Take ownership of building systems by inspecting HVAC software daily for issues and addressing emergency repairs immediately.
Routinely visit branch locations to evaluate the condition of roofs, parking lots, flooring, paint, and office furniture, making recommendations for repair or replacement.
2. Vendor & Project Coordination
Collaborate with the Office Services Manager daily to prioritize tasks and projects.
Coordinate with external vendors for landscaping, housekeeping, security, extermination, and building services.
Oversee vendor performance to ensure problems are resolved suitable and promptly.
Manage the ordering of supplies required to support external vendor activities.
3. Safety & Operations
Ensure all properties comply with safety regulations and maintain current knowledge of OSHA requirements.
Assist with operational logistics, including warehouse inventory, shipping/receiving, vehicle maintenance, snow plowing, and security badge issuance.
Who We Are Looking For
Skilled Tradesperson: You possess a High School diploma (or equivalent) and ideally have additional training in mechanical fields such as Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or Carpentry.
Hands-On Expert: You have the ability to personally perform repairs on various building systems and can lift/move a minimum of 50 pounds.
Tech-Savvy: You are PC literate with experience in word processing and spreadsheets and are comfortable checking building automation software.
Knowledgeable: You can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans.
Operational Pro: Familiarity with warehouse equipment (tow motors, electronic pallet jacks, lifts) is a plus.
Reliable Driver: You possess a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.
