About the Role
AI Fund is hiring a Senior Executive Recruiter to reinvent how we identify, engage, and hire AI leaders and technical entrepreneurs. You will partner directly with our Executive Leadership Team (including Andrew Ng), CEOs, and founders across AI Fund and our portfolio to build executive and senior technical teams. You’ll also collaborate with our software and AI engineers to design, test, and operationalize AI-enabled recruiting tools that deliver step-change gains in speed, quality, and candidate experience.
This is not a traditional recruiting role. We’re looking for a senior recruiter who uses Generative AI daily to supercharge sourcing, research, outreach, screening, calibration, and closing—and who can help architect a 10x recruiting playbook.
What You Will Do
Executive and Technical Leadership Hiring
- Own end-to-end search for executive and founder-level roles: CEOs/co-founders, CTOs/Heads of AI/ML, VP Engineering, Chief Scientist, and principal/staff engineers.
- Build top-of-funnel market maps and longlists; drive targeted outreach and multi-threaded engagement; lead structured assessments; and close complex, equity-forward offers.
- Calibrate deeply with hiring managers on success profiles; bring structure and rigor while keeping the human touch at the center.
GenAI-Enabled Recruiting Workflows
- Deploy and refine AI-powered workflows: LLM-based talent research, automated and personalized outreach, intelligent screening, interview guide generation, and post-interview synthesis.
- Partner with our engineers to scope, test, and iterate custom recruiting tools; translate recruiter pain points into product requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Author and maintain AI recruiting playbooks, prompts, and guardrails to improve precision, reduce bias, and accelerate cycle time.
Stakeholder Partnership and Portfolio Support
- Advise founders on org design, executive leveling, compensation strategy, and closing plans for entrepreneurial leaders.
- Represent AI Fund and our portfolio company brands with gravitas and authenticity to both senior leaders and emerging builders.
Candidate Experience and Employer Brand
- Ensure a transparent, respectful process with timely communication and crisp logistics.
- Collaborate with communications and leadership to craft messaging that resonates with the AI community and drives inbound interest.
Data and Process Excellence
- Analyze the funnel in our ATS and supporting systems; track conversion rates, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source ROI.
- Establish scalable workflows and interview frameworks (scorecards, case studies, working sessions) that maintain quality as we grow.
Community Building and Sourcing Innovation
- Run targeted campaigns, salons, and virtual or on-site events to cultivate founder and executive networks.
- Continuously expand high-signal talent pipelines through referrals, research, and thoughtful relationship-building.
