Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Quality Strategy
Define and implement Salesforce testing strategy covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Ensure quality across declarative and programmatic Salesforce components
Act as a quality advisor for Salesforce implementations, releases, and enhancements
Test Design & Execution
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and Salesforce configurations
Design, document, and execute test scenarios and test cases for:
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
Custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, flows
Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components (LWC/Aura)
Perform end‑to‑end business process testing across Salesforce and integrated systems
Salesforce Automation
Develop and maintain Salesforce test automation (UI and API)
Automate testing for:
Lightning UI
Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP)
Data‑driven and regression scenarios
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Integration & Data Validation
Validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, billing, middleware, etc.)
Perform data migration testing, data reconciliation, and reporting validation
Validate Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules
Defect Management & Release Support
Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using Jira or similar tools
Perform defect root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures
Support Salesforce release management and post‑deployment validation
Agile Collaboration & Leadership
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Admins, Product Owners, and Business Analysts
Mentor junior QA team members on Salesforce testing best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Salesforce Testing Expertise
Strong hands‑on experience testing Salesforce CRM applications
Deep understanding of:
Salesforce data model
Governor limits
Declarative automation vs Apex logic
Experience testing Lightning Experience (LWC / Aura)
Automation & Tools
Experience with Salesforce test automation tools, such as:
Selenium / Playwright / Provar
API automation using Postman or RestAssured
Experience with CI/CD and deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Salesforce SOQL and basic SQL knowledge
Methodologies & Platforms
Strong experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models
Knowledge of Salesforce release cycle and sandbox strategy
Familiarity with Salesforce security and compliance concepts
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
Ability to independently own quality for Salesforce releases
Leadership and mentoring mindset
Nice to Have
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud)
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Tableau CRM
Performance testing or security testing experience for Salesforce applications
Experience in large‑scale enterprise CRM transformations
