About This Role:

The Vice President of Sales/Senior Director , Local Broadcast is a senior individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth, contract renewals, and expanded adoption of Comscore’s measurement currency across major broadcast groups and local television stations. This role owns a portfolio of strategic accounts and new business, serving as the primary executive-level relationship manager and trusted advisor. Comscore is seeking an accomplished sales leader with experience in media across linear, CTV, and digital platforms.  The VP will secure renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and advance adoption of cross-platform measurement solutions by aligning Comscore’s offerings to each Account’s business objectives. A strong understanding of local measurement and the evolving media ecosystem is essential. This role requires executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to independently lead complex accounts—coordinating internal resources, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving and growing revenue outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic local broadcast and station group accounts, serving as the primary point of accountability for revenue, renewals, and client satisfaction

  • Secure contract renewals through consistent, year-round engagement with key stakeholders and proactive value delivery

  • Identify and execute upsell opportunities across existing and new Comscore products, with emphasis on cross-platform, digital and local measurement solutions

  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, organizational structure, and measurement needs to position Comscore as a long-term strategic partner

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, research leaders, station GMs, Directors of Sales, and sales teams at both corporate and market levels

  • Demonstrate strong product expertise and take ownership of ongoing education across Comscore’s solutions, tools, and roadmap

  • Lead account strategy and coordination across internal teams, including Account Management, Product, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, to support sales motions and solve client challenges

  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline in Salesforce and confidently represent account status, forecasts, and risks in internal sales discussions

  • Communicate regularly with clients via email, video conference, and in-person meetings to ensure alignment, momentum, and executive visibility

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in television, digital, or cross-platform media sales; agency buying; or media research, with local market experience strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with full ownership of complex, high-value accounts

  • Strong understanding of media research and how measurement insights drive business outcomes for local broadcasters

  • Strategic, consultative seller with strong negotiation skills and executive-level communication abilities

  • Analytical and organized, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling value propositions for clients

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across large, matrixed client organizations

  • Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding targets

  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet with clients

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications

  • Location: NY preferred.

  • Compensation: $175K - $225K Total Comp; Commensurate with Experience
