DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to advance digital transformation and operational excellence across our supply chain network. In this key role, you'll lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and enhance customer satisfaction. You'll lead innovative initiatives in demand planning, inventory optimization, and digital technology adoption while fostering strong partnerships across divisions and functions.

As a member of the leadership team, you'll oversee the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, guide continuous improvement, and develop robust strategies to enhance product availability and operational efficiency. Your strategic approach will help shape the future of our supply chain operations, implementing advanced technologies and best practices while developing and mentoring teams across multiple locations.

As a member of the leadership team, you will work closely with all Divisions to ensure timely responses for company objectives and challenges (ie global tariffs, ERP/MRP integrations, supply chain continuity, etc).

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 7 years in leadership roles
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
• APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
• Success implementing digital supply chain technologies and guiding enterprise-scale transformation
• Deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain processes including demand/supply planning, procurement, and logistics
• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics tools
• Proven track record of leading SIOP processes and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience in regulated industries (Life Sciences, Pharma, Medical Device) preferred
• Leadership abilities with experience managing inclusive, distributed teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proven ability to implement change management and process improvement initiatives
• Strong project management skills with record of successful program delivery
• Experience with AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced supply chain technologies
• Travel 25-50% including international travel as required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $192,700.00–$275,000.00.
