We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement Specialist to join our IT team. This role is essential for supporting our day-to-day IT procurement functions and ensuring the timely acquisition of hardware, software, and services. You will work directly with the IT Procurement Lead to manage a high volume of requests, improve processes, and help alleviate a significant backlog.
This is a critical support role that will help reduce operational risks, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure our teams have the technology they need to succeed. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver who is comfortable with both administrative tasks and vendor communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Order Processing: Assist in the end-to-end procurement process, including creating purchase orders, managing requisitions, and tracking orders for IT hardware (laptops, monitors, etc.) and software licenses.
- Service Ticket Management: Triage and process incoming IT service requests from ServiceNow, ensuring they are accurately categorized and routed for fulfillment.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for routine inquiries from internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding order status and product availability.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Help maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory using spreadsheets (Excel) and other tracking tools.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in tracking contracts, renewals, and cost-saving initiatives. Help prepare reports on procurement activities and spending.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline manual tasks and contribute to the improvement of procurement workflows, particularly within ServiceNow.
What you should bring
- 1-3 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or operations support role, preferably within an IT department.
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow is a significant plus). High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or Smartsheet) for data tracking and management.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, take on new challenges, and help build more efficient processes.
- Familiarity with IT hardware, software licensing models (e.g., Adobe, Microsoft), and technology vendors is highly desirable.

- 401K:Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to 6% of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
- Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.

- Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
