Purpose

The Senior Director of Revenue Optimization for the Plumbing Division is a senior leadership role responsible for enterprise-wide revenue growth, margin expansion, and monetization strategy across all plumbing operations. This leader owns the revenue performance framework—from pricing and service mix strategy to sales execution, analytics, and scalable playbooks—ensuring consistent, data-driven growth across multiple locations and markets.

This role requires a highly strategic operator who can influence executive leadership, lead cross-functional initiatives, and translate complex data into clear, executable actions for field and branch teams..

Key Responsibilities

 Enterprise Revenue Strategy

  • Own and evolve the revenue optimization strategy for the plumbing division, aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Lead pricing architecture, flat-rate strategy, demand-based pricing, and service bundling initiatives.
  • Drive margin improvement while protecting customer trust and brand reputation.
  • Identify and eliminate revenue leakage across estimating, pricing, dispatch, and invoicing processes.

Sales Performance & Field Enablement

  • Set revenue and margin performance standards for branches and regions.
  • Partner with Operations to standardize sales execution, option presentation, and customer communication.
  • Oversee development and rollout of sales tools, pricing systems, and field playbooks.
  • Improve close rates, average ticket, and attachment rates across all service lines.

Data, Analytics & Forecasting

  • Establish enterprise KPIs and dashboards for revenue performance, pricing compliance, and margin health.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and long-range revenue planning.
  • Leverage CRM and field service platforms to uncover insights and guide decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of revenue data across all locations.

Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on revenue, pricing, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead quality, offer design, campaign ROI, and customer segmentation.
  • Align with Operations to balance revenue growth, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Influence regional and branch leaders to adopt and sustain revenue optimization initiatives.

Scaling, M&A & Continuous Improvement

  • Build scalable revenue playbooks for deployment across new and existing locations.
  • Support M&A integration by standardizing pricing, sales processes, and revenue reporting.
  • Lead pilot programs, A/B testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive pricing, and evolving customer expectations.

Success Metrics

  • Sustained improvement in average ticket and gross margin
  • Revenue and margin consistency across regions and branches
  • Increased membership penetration and recurring revenue
  • Improved sales conversion and pricing compliance
  • Successful scaling of revenue playbooks and post-acquisition integration

Key Competencies and Skills Required

  • 10+ years of experience in revenue optimization, pricing, sales operations, or financial performance leadership.
  • Significant experience in home services, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or adjacent field services.
  • Proven success leading multi-location or multi-market revenue initiatives
  • Advanced analytical and financial acumen with strong executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive change at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Private equity–backed or high-growth services platform experience.
  • Deep familiarity with flat-rate pricing, membership programs, and service agreements.
  • Experience with CRM and field service management platforms (e.g., ServiceTitan).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced business education.
