About the Role

The Senior Director, Product Management – Product to Market Systems leads the product vision and roadmap for the platforms that power how the company designs, plans, and manages product and inventory across brands. The role owns end-to-end product-to-market capabilities spanning design and development, line and assortment planning, merchandising, pricing, and inventory management, enabling faster, more flexible, and data-driven decisions from concept through in-season execution.

What You'll Do

  • Be the end to end connector and visionary for Product to Market systems, including design and development, line planning, merchandising, pricing, and inventory management platforms.

  • Support a team of product leaders and product managers focused on PLM, merchandising, and inventory capabilities, setting a high bar for product craft, discovery, and portfolio management.

  • Drive transformation from legacy, siloed tools to integrated, modern platforms that connect design, merchandising, and inventory decisions across brands and regions.

  • Partner with Design, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Planning, Sourcing, and Supply Chain leaders to translate their strategies into scalable, technology-enabled capabilities and workflows.

  • Ensure end-to-end visibility and control from initial concept and line architecture through buy quantification, allocation, replenishment, and in-season inventory optimization.

  • Define and deliver capabilities that improve speed to market, buy accuracy, inventory productivity, and markdown efficiency while maintaining brand-right assortments.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Data & Analytics, and Architecture to design robust, scalable platforms and services that are easy for users to adopt and extend over time.

  • Use customer, merchant, planner, and inventory manager feedback, along with analytics and process mapping, to prioritize work and improve usability and adoption of core tools.

  • Lead portfolio planning for the Product to Market domain, including OKRs, investment trade-offs across PLM, merchandising, and inventory initiatives, and communication of progress to senior and executive leadership.

  • Establish product operating rhythms and governance that align upstream creative and merchandising milestones with downstream supply chain and inventory decisions.

  • Champion data and standards across product attributes, hierarchies, and inventory signals so design, merchandising, and inventory teams work from a single source of truth.

  • Model company values of inclusion, belonging, and equality, building a diverse team and creating an environment where cross-functional partners feel heard and supported through change.

Who You Are

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product management or related fields, with significant ownership of complex, multi-system domains in retail or consumer businesses.

  • Proven experience leading platform or systems transformation across PLM, merchandising, planning, or inventory tools in a large, matrixed retail organization.

  • Strong end-to-end understanding of how product decisions (assortment, pricing, buys) connect to supply chain, allocation, replenishment, and in-store/online availability.

  • Demonstrated impact on key outcomes such as speed to market, on-time milestone adherence, inventory turns, margin, markdown rate, and in-stock/on-shelf availability.

  • Experienced people leader with a track record of building and developing senior product managers and leading cross-functional teams through complex change.

  • High technical fluency and comfort working with engineering and architecture on platform strategy, integrations, data models, and system health.

  • Strong data and experimentation mindset, with experience defining outcome-based metrics and using analytics and user feedback to iterate on tools and workflows.
