Regional Logistics Category Manager

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Be responsible for formulating and implementing Logistics procurement strategies for each Logistics Mode based on the company's overall plan and the strategic direction of the top management. Clearly define the category goals and development paths based on the defined strategy, and continuously monitor the implementation effect of the category strategies. Be responsible for in-depth analysis of market trends, market behaviors to provide support and analysis for category decisions. Be responsible for the logistics bidding process, requirements, standards and schedule. Work with team member in organizing bidding, negotiation and other procurement activities, ensuring the smooth progress and cost improvement. And track the execution of project procurement, promptly solve problems and risks in the procurement process. Be responsible for developing and certifying new suppliers, establishing a resilience supplier pool, and expanding supplier resources. Ensure the optimization of freight spend, quality and establish long-term cooperative relationships. Be responsible for regularly evaluating suppliers' performance, collecting and analyzing supplier data, and proposing improvement suggestions. Be responsible for establishing mechanisms to encourage suppliers to continuously improve and enhance performance. And assist the Logistics Director in formulating supplier management strategies to enhance the overall competitiveness of the supply chain. Be responsible for maintaining close communication with upstream and downstream business departments such as Production Control, Sales, Material Purchasing, Trade Compliance, and Finance to ensure that procurement requirements are met and support the realization of the company's overall goals. Be responsible for regional logistics budget management, leading workshops with plants & driving continuously YoY performance improvement Be responsible for champion global & regional projects to enhance logistics processes, systems and quality. Utilize & leverage logistics technology (e.g. TMS, WMS, AI) to enhance supply chain visibility and resilience. Be responsible for team & talent management and development

Major Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above, major in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, etc. are preferred. Over 10 years of progressive experience in Logistics management, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role in APAC, including Logistics Operations, Logistics Sourcing, Supply Chain Management. Deep, hands-on knowledge of market conditions, cost composition, international freight forwarding, customs brokerage. Strong logical thinking ability, able to extract valuable information from complex manufacturing environment, possess acute product thinking and data insight analysis skills, be able to propose forward-looking category strategy. Have successful cases and practical experience in logistics bidding, be able to identify process bottlenecks, propose and implement effective optimization plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and KPI reporting Demonstrated success in negotiating with carriers and 3PLs and managing logistics budgets. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Data Analysis tool and Fluent in English reading and writing.
