What You’ll Do:
Reporting directly to the VP, Navico Divisional CIO, the Business Alignment Leader has accountability for IT Business Alignment, Demand Management, Technology Roadmap Development and Implementation for the Navico Group division. This role is essential for ensuring strong, frictionless IT customer engagement for the broader organization.

Applications Leadership
Direct all application development, maintenance, and partner with application support across the division's technology portfolio
Oversee enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, supply chain, financial systems, and custom business applications
Drive technical debt reduction and modernization initiatives
Lead vendor relationships for licensed applications and development partnerships
Strategic Technology Planning
Partner with divisional business leaders to align application strategy with business objectives
Develop technology roadmaps that support division growth and enterprise alignment
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments in AI/ML, automation, cloud, and digital transformation
Contribute to enterprise technology standards and architecture decisions
Financial & Resource Management
Manage divisional applications budget - capital and operational
Develop business cases and ROI analysis for major technology investments
Optimize total cost of ownership across the application portfolio
Leadership & Talent Development
Build and mentor high-performing applications teams with diverse technical and business skills
Create career development pathways and succession plans within the team
Foster culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
Collaborate with enterprise IT on standards, shared services, and integration requirements
Partner with information security, infrastructure, and data teams on holistic solutions
Represent division in enterprise-wide technology initiatives and portfolio reviews
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field required; MBA or Master's degree a plus
5+ years progressive IT leadership experience with at least 3 years managing application teams
Financial Planning and Management
Technical Expertise
Deep understanding of enterprise application architectures (cloud, on-premise, hybrid)
Familiarity with major enterprise platforms (Oracle, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.)
Understanding of emerging technologies: AI/ML, RPA, low-code/no-code, APIs
Experience with digital transformation and legacy system modernization
Leadership & Business Skills
Proven ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
Executive presence with excellent communication skills for C-suite and board-level audiences
Experience leading large-scale, complex technology programs ($1M+ budgets)
Demonstrated change management and organizational transformation capabilities
Strategic thinking with ability to balance short-term delivery and long-term vision

The hiring range for this position is $151,700 - $227,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an award target as part of Brunswick’s long-term incentive program.
