What is the opportunity?

Join the Wealth Management Digital team as the Sr Director – Digital Strategy, Portfolio Planning & Enablement, where you’ll shape the future of digital innovation across Advisor, Client, and Head Office experiences. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving portfolio planning, financial governance, and AI adoption while collaborating with senior executives. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with business ambitions, oversee vendor partnerships, and ensure seamless product launches. What will you do?

  • Lead Digital Strategy: Articulate and execute WMC’s digital vision, aligning with business goals and emerging trends.
  • Manage Portfolio & Finances: Oversee budgets, forecasting, and governance for WMC technology initiatives.
  • Drive AI Adoption: Foster innovation by integrating AI capabilities across WM Digital.
  • Guide Product Launches: Partner with teams to ensure data-driven development and successful go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate with Executives: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating strategy into actionable plans.
  • Optimize Vendor Relationships: Represent WMC in vendor negotiations and capability assessments.
  • Develop Talent: Mentor teams, implement learning programs, and build high-performing, diverse squads.
  • Enhance Collaboration: Bridge gaps between teams and resolve cross-functional challenges.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • University Degree in business, finance or economics (Preferably with an MBA)
  • 10-15 years of business, finance, investment management, or related experience, preferably in Financial Services
  • High degree of PC Literacy and experience using industry standard software (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, MS project, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of other Wealth management products and services
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong service orientation
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Demonstrated partnering and leveraging abilities
  • Understands business risks and exhibits sound judgment and decision-making capabilities

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$135,000.00 - $185,000.00
