What You’ll be Doing

As a member of the Cyber Delivery and Operations team, you’ll work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving threat, technology and business environment. As the Sr. Director, Cyber Security Services Management, you’ll lead the creation of strategy and roadmaps, deliver new capabilities and improvements and perform oversight over cybersecurity services across the organization. The scope of the Cyber Security Services Management portfolio includes application security, data protection, exposure management, threat detection and response, and endpoint, end user and network security.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Leadership and Team Management - Lead a team responsible for managing the security service strategy, roadmaps, service launch and lifecycle management of solutions related to application security, data protection, exposure management, threat detection and response and endpoint, end user & network security. Attract, develop and motivate a team of specialized security service managers to achieve established goals. Provide clear, consistent leadership and direction on all aspects of security services management.
  • Service Delivery and Management - Establish and maintain the processes for security services lifecycle management to promote a consistent approach to service strategy, planning, delivery, service oversight and continuous improvement. Direct the development of future roadmaps to ensure security solutions keep pace with the evolving and increasingly complex threat landscape and technology environment. Support the development of business cases, including large, multi-year programs. Lead the implementation of enterprise security services that address information security and business requirements and comply with standards and regulations to ensure that information assets and employees are adequately protected.
  • Teamwork and Relationship Building - Foster collaborative and supportive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance existing security services, understand challenges and priorities, influence direction, solve problems, deliver effective and sustainable security services, and ensure successful adoption and operation of new services. Grow and deepen an external network of industry contacts and participate in external forums to monitor security trends, technological developments and best practices and to assist in the effective benchmarking and evolution of CIBC capabilities.
  • Service Oversight and Communication - Deliver effective communication and reporting to a broad set of audiences, including Senior Leadership, on service strategy and planning, business case benefits, project status and ongoing service health. Effectively identify and assess service risks, manage and communicate issues, and steer complex situations towards resolution. Leverage knowledge of security threats, industry best practices, and security technologies to communicate how the security services you manage contribute to the overall organizational security posture.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 15+ years of experience in information security across multiple domains in an enterprise information security program. You have extensive experience and knowledge of security technologies and implementations in large and complex technology environments. It’s an asset if you maintain security industry certification(s) from (ISC)2, SANS, ISACA, and/or from security product vendors.

You apply and assess the impact of change management principles to initiatives of variable sizes and degrees of complexities. You have demonstrable experience in implementing strategic plans and managing the lifecycle of security services.
