Monks is on the lookout for a Sr Copywriter. You’ll join a team that delivers top of the game advertising ideas for one the biggest brands in the world.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • You go above and beyond the original brief to push what’s possible on both a creative and technical level, even under tight deadlines. 
  • You’ll produce creative proposals, mockups and decks to kickstart new campaigns.
  • You help to make sure all work is conceptually in line with the campaign’s objectives and client expectations.
  • You’ll write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.
  • You’ll collaborate with PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).
Requirements
  • While we are looking for a candidate with strong roots in copywriting, our ideal unicorn candidate also has a strong background and eye for concept creating and copy.
  • You’re able to present a portfolio of praise-worthy projects, showcasing your understanding of innovative tech trends, PR-able ideas, and campaigns. 
  • You can successfully ideate and pitch your ideas in a digestible, understandable format. 
  • As part of a constructive feedback loop, you can give and handle criticism without making or taking it personally, eagerly going the extra mile if that’s what it takes to make good great.
  • You are humble enough to always listen and learn from clients and teammates.
  • As part of a global company operating as one team across time zones, you can successfully collaborate at a distance.
  • You can produce concepts from scratch and enhance ideas provided by clients and colleagues.
  • You’re a team player with leadership skills: you can keep a cool head when things get heated and are great at dealing with (stressed-out) clients and coworkers.
  • You know your way around generative AI and use it in your projects when needed.
  • You have strong research skills to come up with insights, tensions and culturally relevant events.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
