Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to help plan, develop and manage the preparation, negotiation and execution, and manage close-out activities of all government and/or commercial contracts and/or subcontracts across two facility locations in Hunt Valley and Sparks, Maryland. What you will be doing:

The Contracts Administrator serves as the Company’s primary contractual interface with customers and is responsible for end‑to‑end contract lifecycle management, from proposal development through close‑out. The role supports contract acquisition and execution in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer obligations.

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer government and commercial contracts and related agreements
  • Participate in proposal support activities, including contract terms review, compliance assessments, and cost proposal coordination
  • Review and approve contractual documents to ensure protection of the Company’s contractual posture and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct risk assessments of contract terms and conditions and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and interpretations of terms and conditions
  • Establish and communicate contractual requirements internally to program management and functional stakeholders
  • Interface with program managers and functional leads to monitor contract performance and resolve contractual issues
  • Negotiate and administer commercial sales channel agreements and manage agreement lifecycle activities
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements
  • Prepare and submit Small Business reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities and/or participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Prepare and present contract‑related analyses, recommendations, and briefings to senior management
  • Interface with senior customer representatives to respond to inquiries, conduct fact‑finding discussions, and resolve contractual matters

What you bring to the table:

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Contracts Administration, Policy, or related field

  • Ten (10+) years of related contracting administration experience.

  • Ability to operate independently, using technical and professional experience and knowledge in all areas of contract administration.  

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is desirable.

  • Experience with Small Business reporting is desirable.

  • Candidate must have experience with various contract types (Cost/FFP), have strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, related supplements and TINA.   

  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Salary range:

$134,000 to $172,200 / annual (commensurate with experience, training, and education)

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education / training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
