The Sr. CoE Specialist covers complex and non-operational tasks in the Service Center Operations and assumes role as subject matter expert for Value Flow, Product Costing and Inventory Valuation processes such as reporting, analyses benchmarking, global standardization and automation. S/he drives strategic plans and actions in collaboration with overall Global Process Governance in the areas of VF, PC and IV, and not only supports but as well challenges the status quo in order to achieve the best process results.
Moreover S/he provides second level support coping with ad-hoc requests and incidents and plays a key role in operational projects and continuous improvement.
Enhance quality, efficiency and compliance of service center operations and service delivery through tracking, reporting, analyzing and automating process controls and performance indicators defined by Global Process Governance
Assess Impact of larger changes affecting the End-to-End process such as IT-projects, mergers and other organizational changes
Support in defining the need for change, required involvement of other stakeholders and the appropriate change management. Translating functional needs to Global Process Owner (GPO) and support them in implementation of process changes
Constitute an interface to the GPO in the implementation of process changes
Leading operational excellence projects as well as supervision of external providers
Drive the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the Management Accounting transaction processing.
Collaborate with all parties involved in the respective processes on day-to-day and ad-hoc requests, especially with Service Delivery Manager, Team Leads of SSO and Senior Experts from Central Services PC/IV.
Time management and planning required to coordinate and prioritize multiple business unit needs and projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements in a fast-paced environment
Coordination of operational teams for projects and tasks (e.g. data cleansing) derived from area of expertise
Challenges the status quo from established processes
Ensures internal controls are effective and develops controls according to the business/operations requirements
Support internal and external audits when requested
Coaching and training (e.g. process changes)
The minimum base salary is 2290 EUR and can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.
Degree in Economics or Business Studies with major in Finance/Accounting.
Min. 5 to 8 years of professional experience in a functional role of Management Accounting or Controlling – preferably with experience as expert/key user with deep understanding of accounting and cross-functional processes
Proficient in related IT systems e.g. SAP CO (OM, PA, PCA, PC, ML) and FI modules and attached tools (e.g. SAP Workflows, Smart Close, MDG-F, Cadency, Service Now).
Excellent understanding of systems workflow, dependencies and inter-dependencies esp. to logistic processes (procurement, production)
Reporting and analytics experience (Business Intelligence)
Good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
Experience in multinational environment and running international and/or cross-functional projects
Strong knowledge in internal controls for accounting in order to design and implement according to business requirements
Solid negotiation and assertive skills
