Job Description:
The Executive Director of Commercial Unbranded Fuel is responsible for leading the strategic planning, procurement, and management of unbranded fuel supply across the organization. This role ensures optimal fuel sourcing, pricing, and delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and fostering strong supplier relationships. The position plays a critical role in driving profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability of the fuel supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiation, acquisition, and administration of unbranded fuel contracts to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
- Execute spot purchases and manage fuel inventory in alignment with organizational demand and stockpiling strategies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and efficient fuel delivery to stations, facilities, and departments.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for fuel supply, transportation, and storage.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and supply chain risks to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fuel suppliers, utility buyers, transportation providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the transportation department to authorize and manage logistics contracts.
- Provide strategic input to senior leadership on fuel-related initiatives and business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
- 10+ years professional experience with planning, analytics, fuel supply, energy procurement, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong understanding of fuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory compliance.
